Recently, a publication from the Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group (UU) appeared in Angewandte Chemie, International Edition. The article by A.C.J. Koeken, H.M. Torres Galvis, T. Davidian, M. Ruitenbeek and K.P. de Jong is entitled ‘Suppression of Carbon Deposition in the Iron-Catalyzed Production of Lower Olefins from Synthesis Gas’ and appeared in July. Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 51 (2012) 7190-7193.

Furthermore, in August Nature Nanotechnology published a Letter from the group, entitled ‘Catalytic processes monitored at the nanoscale with tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy’ and authored by E. Schrojenstein Lantman, T. Deckert-Gaudig, A.J.G. Mank, V. Deckert and B.M. Weckhuysen. The Letter published the results of the research in which detailed molecular-scale measurements of a chemical reaction accelerated by sunlight have been made by including a special microscope into the reaction itself. Also in August, Nature Chemistry published a Correspondence from the group, entitled ‘Dips and peaks in fluorescence yield x-ray absorption are due to state-dependent decay’ and authored by F.M.F. de Groot. Nature Chemistry, DOI:10.1038/nchem.1431.
