Koop Lammertsma and Chris Slootweg on the inside cover of Angewandte Chemie.
Nucleophilic phosphinidene complexes, which are isoelectronic to well-known carbene complexes, are establishing themselves as useful reagents for organic synthesis. In their Minireview on page 202 ff., K. Lammertsma et al. give an overview of the different synthetic pathways to this class of phosphorus reagents and decribe their potential applications for a wide range of chemical conversions.
