Catalysis Centre Utrecht
The Catalysis Centre Utrecht (CCU) institutionalises the collaboration between the Department of Physical Organic Chemistry (Prof. Jenneskens), of metal-Mediated Synthesis (Prof. Van Koten) and Inorganic Chemistry (Prof. De Jong /Prof. Weckhuysen). The groups aim at an integration of the expertises of organic, organometallic, inorganic and surface chemistry for the preparation of well-defined heterogeneous and homogeneous catalytic materials. The CCU concentrates on both fundamental and applied research, which is carried out in the interface between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis.
