A farewell symposium in honour of Prof.Dr. Jan Reedijk.

Friday, October 30, 2009 (room C4/C5, Gorlaeus Laboratories, Einsteinweg 55, 2333 CC Leiden), a farewell symposium will be organised in honour of Prof.Dr. Jan Reedijk on the occasion of his retirement from the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry at Leiden University that he has occupied since November 1, 1979.

The morning session of the symposium comprises contributions from former group members and ends with a reunion lunch for the attendees.
The formal symposium in the afternoon starts at 13.45 and comprises two contributions of internationally renowned speakers. Professor Reedijk will then conclude the symposium with his farewell lecture.
After the symposium, all attendees will have the opportunity to drink a toast to Jan Reedijk during the reception in the central hall of the Gorlaeus laboratories.
