26-30 June 2012: 14th International Conference on Theoretical Aspects of Catalysis (ICTAC-14)
14th International Conference on Theoretical Aspects of Catalysis (ICTAC-14) will be held at Strandhotel in Vlissingen, The Netherlands on June 26-30 , 2012.
The ICTAC-14 meeting will be a joint Dutch-Belgian organization and more specifically a collaboration between Schuit Institute for Catalysis (www.nrsc-catalysis.nl) of Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) and the Center for Molecular Modeling (http://molmod.ugent.be) of Ghent University.
The ICTAC-14 is part of a biannual series of conferences that focuses on Theoretical Aspects of Heterogeneous Catalysis. This conference is an important platform to discuss the state of the art and progress in the field of computational catalysis.
The main themes of the 14th edition of ICTAC are :
• Transition Metal Catalysis
• Nanoporous Materials: zeolites – MOFs
• Synthesis Modeling
• Electro Catalysis – Energy Storage
• Theoretical Methods (multiscale modeling, force field development, …)
The programme consists of 12 plenary lectures, 8 invited lectures and 14 oral contributions which will be selected from the submitted abstracts by the programme committee. There is also ample space for poster contributions. From the submitted abstracts also 12 contributions will be selected for a short oral presentation (5’) at Wednesday and Friday evening.
