26-29 September 2010: HRSMC “Advanced Metal-Organic Chemistry”
The HRSMC “Advanced Metal-Organic Chemistry” Autumn School is a special PhD/post doc course on the subject of Metal Organic Chemistry. This School is organized once every 4 years, under auspices of the Holland Research School of Molecular Chemistry (HRSMC), a joint venture of the University of Amsterdam, the Free University of Amsterdam and Leiden University. The School is open also for non-HRSMC members.
Several international professors have been invited as teachers:
- Prof. dr Per-Ola Norrby (University of Gothenburg) : Potential Energy Surfaces and Modeling Methods;
- Prof. dr Roger Alberto (Universität Zürich): Bioorganometallic chemistry in molecular imaging and therapy, basics and application;
- Prof. dr Neil Champness (University of Nottingham) : Metal-Organic Frameworks from Synthesis to Applications;
- Prof. dr Bruno Chaudret (Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination du CNRS, Toulouse): Organometallic Nanoparticles Synthesis;
- Prof. dr Martin Albrecht (University College Dublin): Organometallic chemistry of N-heterocyclic carbenes: the norm and beyond.
Please note that you can register until June, 15th. This advanced course will be held in Hotel Zonheuvel, Doorn in The Netherlands from September 26-29, 2010.
